Written by Eaint Thet Hmu, a graduate of Parami University’s Class of 2026, has been awarded a DAAD Scholarship to pursue a Master’s degree in Gender and Development Studies at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Thailand.
During her time at Parami, Eaint developed a strong interest in gender and development through her coursework, international exchange experience, and community engagement. She also co-founded Project PyitTineHtaung, bringing sex and gender education to students in her hometown of Magway.
As she begins this new academic chapter, Eaint continues to build on the curiosity, experiences, and purpose she developed at Parami.
